Cynthia joined NewsChannel 8 in of May of 2009 as a Reporter. She is excited to be back in her home state. “It’s great being back in Wisconsin. There’s something special about the Midwest, and the people who live here.”

Cynthia graduated from Syracuse University in May 2009 with a double major in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science. She also has a minor in Spanish. During her college career at Syracuse, Cynthia was named one of the top 100 student journalists in the country. While she enjoyed her time out east, she is glad she can call Wisconsin home.

Before coming to La Crosse, she interned around the Badger State at WTMJ in Milwaukee, and at 1670 AM in Madison, WI.

Cynthia grew up in the Southwest corner of Wisconsin, in Cuba City. While in High School, she discovered her passion for news. “I can’t imagine a better career than reporting. Every day I get to go out in the field and learn about new things and meet new people. I truly get to discover what makes an area special.”

In her free time Cynthia enjoys exploring the La Crosse area, traveling, and most of all visiting with family and friends.
